Designed for those who need to carry long gear without sacrificing comfort. Surfbox combines a practical pull-out kitchen with a flexible sleeping setup, making it ideal for weekend escapes and active lifestyles. One half of the bed remains permanently in place, while the second section slides out to create a generous 1900 mm-long double bed. The pull-out kitchen includes a spacious benchtop, dedicated space for a double-burner stove, a cutlery drawer, and a folding table for easy meal preparation. With the bed closed, the open centre aisle provides room for surfboards, bikes, fishing rods, and other long gear, keeping everything secure and organised while travelling. Built from durable 16 mm laminated plywood, Surfbox delivers a simple, robust solution for those who want to travel light and make the most of every adventure.

    Hand-built at our Sydney workshop. ~3-4 week build on standard configs. Custom builds add ~1-2 weeks.

    Get your kit

    Courier depot-to-depot Australia-wide — shipping cost calculated at checkout based on your postcode. Pickup from Sydney is also available — we'll help you load.

    Install and ride

    ~5 hour install. Two-person lift, M8 hardware supplied, printed guide. Bolt to factory tie-downs and you're ready to ride.

Before you buy.

  • 01 How long does installation take?

    Two people, around 5 hours. No drilling — anchors to factory tie-down points. Some trimming around the wheelarches may be required during installation.

  • 02 Will it fit my van if I have aftermarket flooring?

    Yes. Send a photo and a height measurement before ordering and we will confirm.

  • 03 Can I remove it?

    Yes — it is bolted in (not glued or welded), and two people can lift it out in about 10 minutes. Most owners leave it mounted.

  • 04 What is the warranty?

    1 year on workmanship and hardware. Manufacturer warranties apply to components (electrics, hardware, finishes) — passed through to you.

  • 05 Do you ship Australia-wide?

    Yes — courier depot-to-depot. Pickup from our Sydney workshop is also free.
