Caring for your Kata kit: cleaning, storage and longevity

1 min read

A Kata kit is built to last, but a little care keeps it looking sharp and working smoothly trip after trip.

Cleaning

Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap — avoid harsh solvents on the finish. Let everything dry fully before closing drawers to keep moisture out.

Drawers and hardware

The heavy-duty rails are low-maintenance, but an occasional check of fixings after rough roads keeps everything tight and rattle-free.

Off-season storage

If you remove a Camperbox between trips, store it somewhere dry and off the ground. Kits stack neatly, so they don’t need much space.
