Designed to fit your SUV without removing your back seats. Switch from daily driver to weekend camper in minutes, and back again — your SUV keeps every day of the week it had before, just with a kitchen and a sleeping platform ready to go.
The 330 is the largest kit in the Camperbox range. You get the XL pull-out table — more bench and prep space than any other Camperbox — plus a 330mm-tall base. The base comes with a fridge cavity sized for a standard 30L drawer fridge; if you'd rather have a full-depth storage drawer, swap it in Step 2.
Either way, the kit straps to your vehicle's anchor points — no drilling, no permanent modifications. Lifts out in about 10 minutes when you need the boot back.

Every panel is cut from 16mm melamine plywood — durable, easy to clean, and finished for everyday use. Heavy-duty runners throughout. Slide-out kitchen module rated for a single burner.

01 How long does installation ?
Depends on how you get your kit:
— Picked up or shipped to your depot — you install it yourself. About 2 hours with two people. We send you a digital step-by-step guide and a video tutorial after your order is dispatched, plus the straps you need. No drilling.
— Install at our Matraville workshop — we fit it for you in about 2 hours while you wait. Flat fee, no DIY needed.
Either way the kit straps to your vehicle's anchor points, so you can lift it out when you need the boot back.

02 Fridge cavity or storage drawer. Which should I pick?
The Camperbox 330 comes standard with a fridge cavity sized for a 30L drawer fridge (Dometic CoolMatic CD30, Waeco or equivalent). If you'd rather have a full-depth storage drawer — because you run a portable cooler elsewhere, or just want more packing space inside the kit — tick the "Swap fridge cavity for storage drawer" option in Step 2, the sleeping platform, XL table and mounting stay identical either way.

03 Can I remove it?
Yes. The kit straps to your vehicle's anchor points — not glued, bolted or welded — and two people can lift it out in about 10 minutes. Most owners leave it mounted during camping season and pull it out when they need the boot back for other use.

04 What is the warranty?
1 year on workmanship from Kata. Component warranties (electrics, hardware, finishes) are passed through from each manufacturer. If anything goes wrong in the first year, email us a photo and we'll sort it.

06 Which SUVs does the Camperbox 330 fit?
The 330 is sized for SUV cargo bays between 950mm and 1100mm wide. Common fits include Toyota Prado, Defender, LandCruiser, RAV4; Mitsubishi Pajero and Pajero Sport; Ford Everest; Nissan Patrol.
One thing worth knowing: the 330 base plus mattress uses more vertical space than our shorter kits, so you'll want a taller SUV where you can comfortably move around on the bed platform. If your SUV is on the lower side, three common solutions:
— Pick a shorter kit — the Camperbox 250 or Camperbox 200 have a lower profile and more headroom in smaller SUVs
— Sleep up top with a rooftop tent — use the 330 as your kitchen and storage downstairs
— Add a Kata pop-top roof — we build custom aluminium pop-tops that give you standing height inside and a proper double bed overhead (from $18,550 inc GST).
