Which is the difference between getaway, extra storage, large items or free space tag?
- Getaway: The kits that include this tag are perfect for short trips or vacations. These kits are compact, easily transportable, and equipped with essentials for a brief excursion or adventure. Their main features are: quick setup, space optimization, and versatility to accommodate various activities or destinations.
- Extra Storage: Drawers in campervans are essential for storage and organization, and kits with this tag feature an additional drawer. It provides more space to keep items neatly arranged, reducing clutter and ensuring easy access to essentials during travels.
- Large Items: Perfect to accommodate or handle large items such as tents, sleeping bags, folding chairs, or outdoor equipment like bikes, kayaks, or surfboards. Search for the “large items” tag if you’re looking for a bulky adventure ;)
- Free Space: The kits tagged with ‘Free Space’ are those that allow you to open up space for seats and luggage. When open, they include everything you need for your trip; when closed, they take up minimal space.
Which is the difference between Camperbox, Vanbox and Surfbox?
- Our Camperbox is our ready-to-go kit!
It is suitable for all types of vehicles; however, it is the perfect option for smaller vehicles like SUVs. Easy to assemble and disassemble, with all the necessary drawers to store your belongings, stove area extension, and a sliding bed.
- Vanbox is the right fit for big storage needs.
Equipped with two spacious drawers on heavy-duty rails, convenience is always within reach. But that’s not all! Our Vanbox is easily transformed into a cozy queen-sized bed and the great perk is that when is shut it only measures 1300mm, so you’ll be able to use your crew seats and have a lot of free space!
- Last but not least, what makes the Surfbox special is its capacity to store long-size items.
Take everything with you! Surfboards, snowboards, and even bikes. Of course, the Surfbox includes our distinctive large storage drawers, a stove area extension, a sleeping/ seating area and the perk of being highly compactable.
Can your units be easily fitted and removed for occasional use of seats?
Of course, you can! All our standard kits are designed for easy installation and can be effortlessly removed and stored for your next adventure. (We must say, like everything in life, it’s always better with a mate’s helping hand) ;)

Why measurements are so important?
Hey there! We kindly ask you to pay extra attention when taking measurements and choosing your kit. Getting these details spot-on is super important to make sure we craft and deliver your chosen product just right.
Before you hit that order button, double-check the measurements you’ve given us. As we say, measure twice, and cut once ;). As soon as your order is confirmed, we’ll dive straight into designing and putting together your kit, all based on the measurements you’ve provided.
Just a heads up: if any items arrive with incorrect measurements, they won’t be eligible for exchange or return.
And, remember, if there are any bumps in manufacturing or delivery due to incorrect measurements, we won’t be able to cover those errors.
How will I know if a Kata Kit will fit?
